Wayne Medical Center offers Christmas cheer to local family

WAYNESBORO, Tenn. — Employees and physicians at Wayne Medical Center (WMC) are providing holiday cheer to families in the community this holiday season.

WMC has completed its Christmas Outreach Program, an annual project spearheaded by staff members to assist families in the community who are in need of assistance at the holidays. Employees submit names of families who have faced hardships during the past year. Staff members then contribute donations of food and money to help make the holiday season brighter for these adopted families.

This year, four Wayne County families will be assisted with utility bills and groceries and their children will receive gifts of clothing and toys. Gifts will be delivered this week.

WMC has sponsored the Christmas Outreach Program for more than ten years.
