Non-Discrimination in Medical Center Services and Benefits

It is Maury Regional’s policy that all services, programs and benefits be readily accessible to all, without distinction due to race, color, national origin, handicapping condition, or age. This facility complies fully with:  1) Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; 2) Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; and 3) Age Discrimination Act of 1975.

Communication Assistance

For patients with limited English proficiency, registration areas have the Spanish Patient Rights and Responsibilities available and will utilize the Communication Assistance Resource Directory for other languages.  Patients who need assistive devices (magnifying glass, sign language, etc) or have a communication challenge (deafness, low vision, etc) will have alternative communication techniques available. The Admitting Department or Quality Services Department should be contacted assistance.
