Marshall Medical Center awards college scholarships

LEWISBURG, Tenn. — Marshall Medical Center (MMC) recently presented college scholarships worth $1,000 each to three high school graduates who plan to pursue careers in health care, including Kimberlyn Greer, Carson Holton and Gabriel King.

Greer is a graduate of Marshall County High School and plans to pursue a degree in nursing at Columbia State Community College. Holton, a graduate of Forrest High School, intends to study nursing at the University of Tennessee–Martin. King graduated from Cornersville High School and plans to study physical therapy at the University of Tennessee–Chattanooga.

“Marshall Medical Center is pleased to provide scholarship awards to help these outstanding students as they prepare for careers in health care,” said MMC CEO Phyllis Brown.

MMC has awarded scholarships to area high school students interested in the health care profession for more than two decades.
