COLUMBIA, Tenn. — Cardiologists Jessica Joseph-Alexis, DO, and David Houff, DO have joined the medical staff at Maury Regional Medical Center. They are associated with Vanderbilt Heart-Columbia.
Dr. Joseph-Alexis received her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at HCA Healthcare/USF Morsani College of Medicine GME: Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson, Florida. Dr. Joseph-Alexis is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Joseph-Alexis is a non-invasive general cardiologist with interest in heart failure, preventative medicine, women’s cardiovascular health and advanced imaging, including cardiac-CT.
Dr. Houff received his medical degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Advocate Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Houff is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. His clinical and research interests include advanced catheter-based therapies for coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease, as well as limb preservation therapies for chronic limb ischemia.
Vanderbilt Heart-Columbia is located in suite 401 of the Maury Regional Medical Center Pavilion at 1220 Trotwood Ave. in Columbia. In addition to seeing patients at the Columbia location, Dr. Joseph-Alexis sees patients at the practice’s Lawrenceburg location (416 North Locust Ave.), while Dr. Houff sees patients at the Hohenwald location (617 W.
