LEWISBURG, Tenn. — Marshall Medical Center (MMC) recently presented $9,000 in college scholarships to six high school graduates from Marshall County who plan to pursue careers in health care.

The first scholarship was presented by the Marshall Medical Center Volunteer Association and consisted of three $2,000 scholarships for students planning to pursue their education in a health care field. Recipients of the award included Kendall Adams, a Marshall County High School graduate; Mary Davis, a Cornersville High School graduate; and Rebecca Clark, a Forrest High School graduate.

MMC also presented three Marshall Medical Center Career Scholarships worth $1,000 each to Marshall County students to help them pursue their college education goals. Award recipients included Clark, Adams and Jessie Beth Woodard, a Cornersville High School graduate.

“Congratulations to all of these amazing graduates,” said Phyllis Brown, CEO of Marshall Medical Center. “They’re all so deserving of these scholarships, and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to help them as they start their college journeys.”
