Brown named CEO of Maury Regional Health rural hospitals

COLUMBIA, Tenn. – Phyllis Brown has been promoted to chief executive officer of Maury Regional Health (MRH) rural hospitals, assuming leadership for Wayne Medical Center in addition to Marshall Medical Center.

Brown has been in a leadership role at Marshall Medical Center since 1996, serving as chief financial officer prior to being promoted to chief executive officer in 2007. She has more than 35 years of experience in hospital finance and administration. During her time at the organization, she has also served as CFO at Wayne Medical Center. Prior to joining Maury Regional Health, she worked at Humana, Columbia HCA and Healthtrust. Brown holds a degree in business and finance from the College of Virginia.
