Diabetes & Heart Disease Seminar

Heart disease is among the leading causes of death for adults with type 2 diabetes. With more than 30 million Americans living with diabetes, it is important to know how diabetes affects your vascular system and increases your risk for heart attack and stroke.  Dr. Joel Phares, a board-certified cardiologist on the medical staff at Maury Regional Medical Center, will discuss the correlation between diabetes and heart disease and how to monitor and reduce your risk.
