As cases of COVID-19 continue to climb in the U.S., Maury Regional Health is canceling all expectant parent classes until further notice. This action is taken in an abundance of caution as part of our stance in preventing the spread of illness.
If you have any questions about your pregnancy or newborn, please contact your OB/GYN or pediatrician. Information about Maury Regional's childbirth services is available here.
This six-hour class provides comprehensive information for expectant parents with topics that include:
• Stages of labor
• Comfort techniques
• Delivery process
• Pain management
• Physical and emotional changes following delivery
• Basic breastfeeding information
A meal ticket for lunch will be provided and a free tour of our women’s floor is given.
