Peripheral Artery Disease: Are you at risk?

Many people don't give aches in their legs a second thought. But if your leg pain doesn't go away – or it comes and goes – it could be a sign of a condition called peripheral artery disease or PAD.

This condition is treatable once you know you have it. Left untreated, it can lead to serious complications, including limb loss. Having PAD may also increase your risk of having other cardiovascular complications that may lead to heart attack or stroke. That's why it's important to be screened for PAD if you have any of the symptoms or risk factors included in this infographic.
