LEWISBURG, Tenn. — Lewisburg Pediatrics, a practice affiliated with Maury Regional Health, has expanded its team of providers and extended its hours of service to care for children in the community.
Andrew K. Nielsen, M.D., a specialist in internal medicine and pediatrics, is now available to see patients by appointment at Lewisburg Pediatrics. Dr. Nielsen joins Ashley Hancock, CPNC-PC, a nurse practitioner certified in the care of pediatric patients. The practice serves patients from birth to teen.
Dr. Nielsen joined Maury Regional Health in 2018. He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He is board certified in pediatrics and internal medicine.
Services at Lewisburg Pediatrics include wellness exams, immunizations, treatment of illness and sports physicals. In addition to accepting most insurance, Lewisburg Pediatrics is a Federally Qualified Health Center, offering a sliding fee schedule to calculate discounted rates for those who financially qualify.
