Our practiced is composed of providers who see patients by appointment in our office in Columbia, as well as a team of providers who provide treatment to patients who are hospitalized in the Critical Care Unit at Maury Regional Medical Center.

John Forstall, DO
Pulmonary Medicine

John Forstall, DO, is a physician who specializes in the care of patients with pulmonary disease. He received his medical degree from Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, Alabama. He then went on to complete a residency and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine.

Jon L. Freels, MD, is a physician who specializes in the care of patients with pulmonary disease. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. He completed his residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Arizona. He is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease.

J. Spencer Jensen, MD

J. Spencer Jensen, MD, is a physician who specializes in treatment of pulmonary disease and critical care medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. He completed his residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Emory University. Dr. Jensen is board certified in pulmonary disease and crticial care medicine. He sees patients by appointment in our Columbia office.

Brett C. Norman, MD, MPH

Brett C. Norman, MD, MPH, is a physician who specializes in the care of patients with pulmonary disease. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Washington Hospitals in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Norman completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.

Brian Beck, NP, is a board certified family nurse practitioner who sees patients in our Columbia, Tennessee practice. He began his nursing career in critical care units and also served as a nurse educator and leader. He holds a bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and a master's degree in nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Alabama.

Maura J. Lipp, MD, is a physician who sees patients in the Critical Care Unit at Maury Regional Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from Ross University in Edison, New Jersey. Thomas E. Quinn, MD, is a physician who provides care for patients in the Critical Care Unit at Maury Regional Medical Center. Critical Care Medicine

Jason Cunningham, NP, is a family nurse practitioner who sees patients in the Critical Care Unit at Maury Regional Medical Center. He earned a master's degree in nursing from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He is a former United States Marine who served in active combat in five campaigns before his honorable discharge in 2002. Jason worked as a critical nurse at Maury Regional Medical Center for eight years.

Mark Graves, FNP-BC
Pulmonary Medicine

Mark Graves, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner associated with Maury Regional Medical Group Pulmonary and Critical Care in Columbia. He received his Master of Science in nursing degree from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Kathrynne Simmons, NP
Critical Care Medicine

Kathrynne Simmons, NP, is an acute care nurse practitioner who sees patients in the Critical Care Unit at Maury Regional Medical Center. She received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and a master's degree in nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Alabama. Her experience includes working as a registered nurse in the critical care unit and serving as a nursing instructor.
