WAYNESBORO, Tenn. — Maury Regional Medical Group’s Primary Care – Waynesboro joined the Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, June 13, to celebrate the practice’s new and improved location with an open house and ribbon cutting.
“With the opening of this new location, we’re not just expanding health care access, but creating a stronger, healthier community,” said Maury Regional Medical Group (MRMG) President Nathan Miller during opening remarks at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Primary Care – Waynesboro offers primary health care services with providers from MRMG. These services include family, geriatric and internal medicine to support ongoing, preventive care and disease management.
The practice is now located in the Piggly Wiggly shopping complex in Waynesboro. The modern and spacious area consists of 12 exam rooms, convenient patient parking and an expanded waiting area. An on-site laboratory is also available. The primary care team is led by Harish Veeramachaneni, MD, Paula Cole, NP, and Kendra Prater-Holt, NP.
“Launching this new location has been a community effort,” said Hugh Bennett, an operations director for MRMG who oversees the primary care division. “It’s a partially grant-funded project that we started working on in 2021 and began construction in 2023. We’re proud to bring such a nice, modern and spacious experience to Waynesboro.”
