warming stations

If you or someone you know is in need of a warm place to go during the extreme cold, counties have started establishing warming centers across the state. In Columbia, the First United Methodist Church’s People’s Table will be open Monday, January 15, through Friday, January 19, from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Family Center in Columbia is open 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday, January 15, to Saturday, January 20. In addition, the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) has created a map on their website with additional locations. To view the map, click here.
