Senior Life Solutions is an outpatient geriatric behavioral health program based at Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg. Our outpatient program provides one-on-one support and group therapy to help seniors cope with emotional health needs.

Therapists develop an individual care plan for each patient with daily activities and education in a supportive setting. Patients attend 11 hours or less of treatment per week.

Signs of behavioral health issues among senior adults may include:

  • Sadness, crying spells, worrying
  • Thoughts or attempts of suicide*
  • Poor appetite or loss of interest in food
  • Decreased energy
  • Mood swings
  • Anxiety or nervousness
  • Difficulty managing anger or stress
  • Feelings of helplessness or hopelessness
  • Depression or loneliness


Senior Life Solutions is located inside Marshall Medical Center at 1080 N. Ellington Parkway in Lewisburg. The program is located in Suite 2003, with the entrance and parking located on the rear side of Marshall Medical Center.

Beyond Tomorrow Guidance and Support Group

The March 2024 meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 19, due to a conflict.

Marshall Medical Center’s Senior Life Solutions offers Beyond Tomorrow, a free guidance and support group for individuals typically 65 and older coping with age-related issues, including depression and anxiety.

Beyond Tomorrow meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 2:30 p.m. at the Lewisburg Recreation Center, which is located at 1551 Mooresville Highway in Lewisburg. (Please use the Sports Complex parking area and entrance.) Meetings are facilitated by certified counselors and therapists associated with Marshall Medical Center’s Senior Life Solutions, an intensive outpatient therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of individuals typically 65 and older experiencing depression and/or anxiety related to life changes often associated with aging.

Individuals typically 65 and older are encouraged to attend the Beyond Tomorrow group meetings if they experience any of the following feelings: concerns about their health, difficulty sleeping or eating, excessive worry or hopelessness, grief, loneliness, sadness or thoughts of harming oneself*.
