In response to COVID-19, our support group schedule has been altered. If you have any questions or are in need of support, please call the number listed with the appropriate group below. Thank you. 


Meetings are canceled until further notice. Breast cancer survivors are joined by guest speakers and clinical professionals to provide support in coping with breast cancer. Attendees range from long-term survivors to those newly diagnosed. Meetings are held in the Maury Regional Women's Center and topics include breast cancer treatment, hormone therapies and support services available. For more information, call 931.540.4166. 


Meetings are canceled until further notice. The Cancer Support Group provides support to everyone impacted by cancer, including the newly diagnosed, cancer survivors and their family and friends. Meetings will provide attendees the opportunity to discuss the challenges, frustrations, fears and feelings associated with cancer. For more information, call 931.490.7192.


This support group has resumed meeting in person. Meetings take place at the Maury Regional Annex, which is located at 1223 Trotwood Avenue in Columbia (across from the hospital). For those who prefer to join virtually, a Webex option is also available. To participate virtually, please call 931.540.4324 or email in advance of the meeting to obtain the video conferencing information. 

The Diabetes Support Group (formerly known as the Diabetes Education Group) meets each month to share information about the management of diabetes. Meetings are facilitated by a certified diabetes educator and topics include controlling blood sugar, the impact of diabetes on the vascular system and much more. Those with diabetes and their family members are encouraged to attend this meeting held in the Maury Regional Annex. For more information, call 931.540.4324.


Meetings are canceled until further notice. The Empty Arms Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group offers a supportive atmosphere for parents to share experiences, gain information about grief and learn valuable coping skills. The group meets monthly at the Maury Regional Annex, across from Maury Regional Medical Center at 1223 Trotwood Avenue in Columbia. Meetings include speakers and pastoral care. Meetings are canceled until further notice. Losing someone you love is painful and brings about a multitude of emotions that vary by individual and by experience. The goal of the Grief Support Group is to offer comfort and guidance for those coping with the loss of a loved one by offering a supportive environment to share experiences, resources and coping strategies. For more information, call 931.540.4243. 


Meetings are canceled until further notice. Beyond Tomorrow is a monthly support group for those experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety. Meetings are facilitated by counselors and therapists with the Senior Life Solutions program at Marshall Medical Center. For more information, call 931.270.3685.


Meetings are canceled until further notice. The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) support group provides education and support for those impacted by MS, including the newly diagnosed, their families and friends. A diagnosis of MS brings challenges, frustration and fear. The goal of this support group is to provide a forum for learning more about MS, the resources available and to create an environment for open discussion and support. Facilitators are Maura Lipp, M.D., and Chaplain Lyndall Propst. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month at the Maury Regional Annex at 6 p.m. For more information, call 931.540.4243.


Meetings are canceled until further notice. The Ostomy Support Group is for persons with an ileostomy, colostomy or urostomy. Family members and friends are invited. Individuals whose physician has recommended an ostomy and would like to learn more prior to surgery are also encouraged to attend. Meetings are held at Maury Regional Medical Center. The Stroke Support Group is for those who have experienced a stroke as well as their family, caregivers and friends. Meetings are held in the Maury Regional Annex located at 1223 Trotwood Avenue – across from the hospital  at 6 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month (except for a combined November/December meeting). Agendas vary and include speakers, networking, resource information and much more. Stroke survivors are encouraged to attend as this meeting is especially for you.
