Every day, you observe people who are always ready to help and who make Maury Regional Medical Center a great place to work and receive care. Now, you can nominate those exceptional individuals for the Sunflower Award!

The Sunflower Award is an opportunity to recognize employees from all disciplines and departments who go above and beyond. Examples include, but are not limited to, individuals who:

  • Perform extra duties substantially beyond those normally assigned
  • Exchange diverse ideas and perspectives
  • Identify ways to initiate positive change
  • Serve as an active member on a committee or team
  • Create opportunities for fellow employees to enhance their skills
  • Make special efforts to mentor others
  • Improve operational efficiency

Nominations for the Sunflower Award are accepted year-round from patients, family members and colleagues. Award winners are selected and recognized once per quarter.

The Sunflower Award was developed for non-RNs as a companion program to the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. To nominate a nurse who has demonstrated extraordinary care, visit MauryRegional.com/DAISY-Award.
