Cost Estimator

To assist our patients in understanding their financial commitment, Maury Regional Health offers an interactive online cost estimator that allows users to receive estimated costs for 300 common inpatient and outpatient services by facility.

When you research cost estimates - also known as shoppable services - you will want to consider which facility will provide your care. An online cost estimator tool is available for services provided at Maury Regional Medical Center, Marshall Medical Center and Wayne Medical Center. If you have insurance, the cost will be based upon your benefits at the time of the service. Please have your insurance card available to input the requested information into the estimator.

This tool provides a good faith estimate of facility costs based on the accuracy of the information known about your procedure(s) as ordered by your health care provider. Actual amounts owed for services rendered may be more or less and any remainder due can be billed to you after services are rendered. Please understand if the service that you select for the estimate does not match the service actually provided, then the cost could be different.

Please note that hospital-based physician charges are independent from hospital charges. You may also receive separate bills for services rendered by your primary physician, anesthesiologist, radiologist, medical oncologist, radiation oncologist, pathologist (lab work) or Emergency Department physician.

If you have questions about costs for care provided by Maury Regional Medical Group, a Community Health Center (Federally Qualified Health Center) or a Rural Health Clinic, please contact the practice location directly.

If at any time you have questions about the estimated cost for the services that you need, please contact one of our financial counselors at pricing@mauryregional.com or by calling 931.380.4044. If you are not currently insured or feel that you are under-insured, our counselors will be happy to review our financial assistance policy and payment options with you.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment and hospital fees.
  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one (1) business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit CMS.gov/nosurprises, email FederalPPDRQuestions@cms.hhs.gov or call 1.800.985.3059.
